Volunteers needed for Féile Vegan 2026

Dear Members,

We would like to let you know that, unfortunately, the Irish Anti-Vivisection Society has made the decision to withdraw from the upcoming Féile Vegan Festival.

Since announcing our participation, we became aware that the venue is due to host a fox hunting event in the near future. As an organisation dedicated to opposing animal suffering and promoting compassion towards animals, we felt that participating at a venue that also facilitates such an event would be inconsistent with our ethical principles.

While we are disappointed not to be attending the festival, we believe it is important that the events and venues we support are compatible with the values of the IAVS.

We apologise to any members who were looking forward to visiting or volunteering at our stand, and thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The Irish Anti-Vivisection Society is delighted to be exhibiting at Féile Vegan Festival 2026, Ireland's only vegan music festival, taking place from 14–16 August at the beautiful Lisnavagh House & Gardens, Co. Carlow. The festival brings together compassionate people from across Ireland for a weekend of live music, inspiring talks, delicious plant-based food, cooking demonstrations, wellness workshops, artisan stalls, and animal charities—all celebrating a kinder, more sustainable world.

We're looking for IAVS members to help represent us on our stand on Saturday 15th. Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people, raise awareness about animal experimentation, and support our campaigns while enjoying everything the festival has to offer.
