Join us on our committee

The IAVS is seeking new committee members!

Would you like to speak up for innocent animals subjected to pain, suffering, and death in laboratories?

Would you like to campaign for the abolition of crude animal experiments and support the development of superior, modern, non-animal based research?

The Irish Anti-Vivisection Society is committed to responsible and non-violent action and members must share IAVS values and be genuinely committed to the cause of animal rights. We are looking for dedicated and intelligent people with imagination and the time to devote to the IAVS.

Experience working or volunteering in the animal rights field, and/or having some knowledge about animal experimentation would be very useful. We are also keen to attract those with experience of social media campaigns, and with good IT skills generally. Other desirable skills could include lobbying government and regulators and giving talks.

Is this you?
If 'yes', then please get in touch ( and tell us a little about yourself and how you feel you could help.

Committees not your 'thing'?
Maybe you would have some spare time to represent the IAVS at exhibitions, festivals and protests etc.? Let us know, so that we can contact you when these events are planned.
